Questions

What practices ask before they start.

What does meda cost for my practice?

You pay per doctor per month. A practice with two doctors pays 138 € for meda Notes, or 456 € with meda Billing, excl. VAT. With meda Billing, logins for your whole team are included.

Can I try meda first?

Yes, for free and without a credit card. Sign up and test with demo data, so please don’t enter real patient data. If you would rather see meda in your own practice first, book a demo.

Are there setup fees or a long commitment?

No. Setup is included for practices, and you choose a monthly or yearly term.

Does meda work with our PVS?

Yes. meda works with any PVS through GDT, the interface your PVS already speaks. It is integrated more deeply with tomedo, medatixx, T2med, CGM MEDISTAR, TURBOMED and M1 PRO. No switch, no migration.

How do you count doctors?

Every doctor whose patient visits run through meda in that month counts, doctors in specialty training included. Deactivate a doctor and they stop counting from then on. A doctor who also runs the practice counts once.

Does meda Billing cover every doctor in the practice?

Yes. meda Billing runs for the whole practice and builds on meda Notes. You see your practice’s billing in full, and you still pay per doctor.

How is our patients’ data protected?

meda is GDPR compliant. Our servers are in EU data centres, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and audio is never stored. We sign the Data Processing Agreement (AVV) before any practice data flows. More on our security page.

Is meda a medical device?

No. meda makes no diagnosis and gives no treatment recommendation; the doctor always decides. meda is not a high-risk AI system under the AI Act either. See our classification under Regulatory.

What applies to groups with several sites?

From three sites or 20 doctors you get your own offer: one contract for the whole organisation, with an overview of every site and terms agreed once for all of them.

An external service does our billing. Does meda fit?

Yes. meda hands your service finished material in the formats it already takes. Logins in meda are for people employed by the practice or the group.
